International Poverty Forum · Powered by Caring For Others
2027 Annual Assembly and Think Tank
Saint Lucia · March 18–19, 2027 · Hosted in partnership with the Government and people of Saint Lucia
Come with a commitment. Return with results.
What happens
Two days. One room. Real commitments.
Heads of state, ministers, faith leaders, funders and community practitioners meet in one room and agree on what they will do about poverty.
Delegations leave with clear, time-bound commitments, called Shockley Solutions, and IPF tracks whether they get done.

IPF Foundational pillars
The core of the Assembly work is framed around IPF’s foundational pillars: food, clothing and housing. This is where we start, always.
IPF Transformative pillars
Connect with success stories and explore health, education and economic empowerment. These are the transformative forces in poverty eradication.
IPF Think Tank
Working sessions, not speeches. Participants agree on priorities and take on country assignments that can be carried out, tracked and repeated elsewhere.

Who should apply
People who can make a commitment, or carry one out
- Leaders in government and public service
- Faith leaders
- Funders and business leaders
- People running programs in food, clothing, housing, health, education or economic empowerment
- People who live in, or speak for, communities directly affected by poverty
How we choose
The Assembly works because of who is in the room
We read every application. We balance countries, pillars and sectors, and we make room for people who know poverty firsthand.
That means we can’t offer every applicant a seat right away. Some people will be placed on a waitlist and offered a seat when one opens. You’ll hear where you stand within three weeks of applying.
